Notary services are available Monday through Friday. To schedule an appointment, please go to the link at the bottom of the page. We will get back to you soon with a confirmation of your appointment.  If you have not recevied a confirmation, please call the library before arriving.

 

What do you need to bring? 

Bring TWO (2) forms of current identification with a signature. Signatures in each ID must match.

• One ID must feature a photographer or physical description of the signer. Acceptable examples include: a valid driver's license, a valid passport from any country, or a valid state identification card. 

• One ID must have the signature of the signer. Acceptable examples include: a signed credit card or debit card, a signed work identification card, a signed fishing license, or a signed pilot's permit

• PLEASE NOTE: Birth Certificates and Social Security cards are NOT considered acceptable identification.

 

What do you need to do before your appointment?

• Fill out all necessary parts of the document beforehand. Notaries cannot assist you with filling out documents.

• DO NOT sign the document ahead of time. The document must be signed in front of the notary.

• Be sure to bring any required witnesses to the appointment. All required parties must sign the document with the notary present.

• The document must be in English.
