Laptop ConneCT establishes long-term lending of laptops and related accessories to eligible Connecticut residents through local public libraries. The Laptop ConneCT Program is administered by the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) in partnership with the Connecticut State Library. This program is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act.

Eligibility

East Windsor residents who are at least 18 years of age, have a valid library card, and participate in a qualifying state or federal assistance program* are eligible.

*Qualifying programs:

• Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

• Connecticut Energy Assistance Program (CEAP)

• Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

• Medicare

• HUSKY Health (Medicaid/The Children’s Health Insurance Program)
